VESSEL SAFETY CHECK A Vessel
Safety Check is a courtesy examination of your boat (Vessel) to verify
the presence and condition of certain Safety Equipment required by State
and the Federal regulations. The Vessel Examiner is a trained specialist
and is a member of the United States Power Squadrons or the US Coast
Guard Auxiliary. They will also make certain recommendations and discuss
certain safety issues that will make you a safer boater.
Get a "Virtual" Vessel Safety Check- This fun,
interactive program lets you find out if your boat or personal
watercraft would pass a Vessel Safety Check, before you have one. It's
easy and convenient to use! Want to find out if your boat or personal watercraft will pass a Vessel Safety Check before you actually have one? Why not find out? All you have to do is print out the form we use and use it as a guide to perform your own self-inspection. You can get the form here |
